The Agape Foundation of London is a small charitable organization with a big heart for our community. We assist in the development of the London, Ontario area community through grants and special awards to non-profits and charities working in the fields of education, the arts, recreation, social services, health and the environment.
If your organization improves the quality of life in our community, we welcome your application for funding. Note, the Agape Foundation of London can only grant to not-for-profits within the immediate London, Ontario area or to those that demonstrate a clear London connection and impact.
Types of Grants
New organizations: The Agape Foundation of London provides grants to help cover the start-up capital and operating costs of new non-profits and charities in London, Ontario that can demonstrate their services are responding to a documented need in the community.
Established organizations: The Agape Foundation of London provides grants to established non-profits and charities in London, Ontario that demonstrate a need for funding of a capital project.
Grants are also considered for established organizations whose services will no longer be available to the community without short term funding.
Before you Apply
Before you apply, please note:
- Successful applicants must wait two years before submitting another application.
- Your organization must have a CRA charitable registration number and be governed by a Board of Directors.
- Your organization must provide benefit to the community of London, Ontario and its citizens.
- We do not distribute grants over $10,000.
- We prefer to fund small, grassroots organizations which seek to meet immediate community needs.
- We give higher priority to ‘seed money’ for new projects, programs, and initiatives.
- We do not fund capital campaigns.
- Within six months of receiving a grant, successful applicants must report back to the Agape Foundation of London on the impact of that grant.
