The Agape Foundation of London helps improve the lives of Londoners through the distribution of grants to local non-profits and charities working in the fields of education, the arts, recreation, social services, health and the environment.
Since its inception in 1988, the Agape Foundation of London has distributed more than $1.7 million in grants to local non-profits and charities. We are a small charitable organization with a big heart for our community.
London is located on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron peoples, on lands connected with the London Township and Sombra Treaties of 1796 and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant Wampum.
I recall one of the founders of the Agape Foundation of London saying, “Agape supports seed money to assist those in need in London.”. Our significant initial support back in 1988 helped establish the Dale Brain Injury Services. Since then, our small Foundation has donated more than $1,700,000 in support of projects that benefit people who call London home.
London is a diverse and thriving city, home to many grassroots organizations that strive to enhance life in the Forest City through projects focused on the arts, recreation, social services, health and the environment.
Like those grassroots organizations, the board of directors at the Agape Foundation of London has a big heart for our community. We have all chosen London and take seriously our responsibility to help it, and its people, succeed.
For those who submit applications for funding, I pledge that we consider each application on its own merits and distribute funds in alignment with the mandate established by the original founders.
Together, we can all help improve the lives of Londoners.
